High-school-sports social site

Sports Illustrated has invested in its future. It struck a deal with Takkle.com, a social-networking site that's all about high school sports. "Under the alliance announced today, sports fans can go to Takkle.com to nominate candidates for SI’s Faces in the Crowd, a longstanding department of the magazine that recognizes student athletes," MediaWeek.com reports. SI will also feature a pick-of-the-week athlete video chosen among videos posted on Takkle.com. Here's the press release from the two companies.

I think thats a great idea to have a high school sports oriented social network. To keep track of all the talented athletes out there that might one day be apart of the national leagues. It's easy to see that social networking sites are the thing of today, and it's just going to get bigger and bigger. It's a great tool to keep in contact with your friends and fellow class mates. There's a new social networking site that has been introduced to the US called Cyworld. It's a safer alternative for teens, younger adults and students. It's more for the creative expressive type of person. It has a lot of cool features like creating your own minime, making your own miniroom just the way you want it. It's really cool, check it out at http://www.cyworld.com . I work with Cyworld, so I'm just giving you guys the scoop!
